Ellray Jakes Is A Rock Star!

RRP $11.99

All the boys in EllRay's third-grade class have something they can brag about. Corey's on the swim team, Kevin is super tall, Jared's dad has an ATV. But EllRay's dad is a geologist - not much to brag about. After all, rocks are boring. Then EllRay sees the crystals in his dad's office, and they are really cool looking. If EllRay just "borrows" them to show his classmates, he knows they'd be impressed. And his dad will never have to know. It's a perfect plan . . . until things go awry.

A Ladys Life In The Rocky Mountains

RRP $34.99

Isabella L Bird (1831 - 1904) was a 19th century British traveler and writer. Since her father was a Church of England priest the family moved many times during her childhood. Bird traveled to Colorado when she heard the air was very healthy. She covered the 800 miles on horseback riding like a man and not sidesaddle. During her adventure she wrote a series of letters home to her sister. These were published in the Leisure Hour magazine. The letters were later published in her most famous book A Lady's Life in the Rocky Mountains.

The Rock Of Chickamauga

RRP $17.99

"You have the keenest eyes in the troop. Can you see anything ahead?" asked Colonel Winchester. "Nothing living, sir," replied Dick Mason, as he swept his powerful glasses in a half-curve. "There are hills on the right and in the center, covered with thick, green forest, and on the left, where the land lies low, the forest is thick and green too, although I think I catch a flash of water in it." "That should be the little river of which our map tells. And you, Warner, what do your eyes tell you?" "The same tale they tell to Dick, sir. It looks to me like a wilderness." "And so it is. It's a low-lying region of vast forests and thickets, of slow deep rivers and creeks, and of lagoons and bayous. If Northern troops want to be ambushed they couldn't come to a finer place for it. Forrest and five thousand of his wild riders might hide within rifle shot of us in this endless mass of vegetation. And so, my lads, it behooves us to be cautious with a very great caution. You will recall how we got cut up by Forrest in the Shiloh time."

That Incredible Christian

RRP $16.99

A carefully chosen selection of editorials from Tozer's time as editor of what is now the Alliance Life, with the common theme of recognizing God for who he is and giving him the honour and worship due to him. Tozer tells us that God intends for truth to move us to moral action, that the Holy Spirit is working to bring each believer into a spiritual development according to the Father's nature, and that anything that keeps us from the Bible, no matter how harmless it appears, is our enemy. He reminds us that while we may be in the world, we are not of this world. Each chapter will instruct those who seek to truly know and follow God, showing how heaven's children are to live on earth.
